In 2009, Greg Ashe, QED Risk Services Director, saw a need to assist brokers in meeting all of their NCCP General Conduct Obligations and started the business to do this. The QED Group of companies provide compliance solutions for every sector in the Mortgage Broking industry.

Before QED Risk Services, Greg had spent the previous 10 years working in risk management, primarily in financial services in Australia and the UK, and was Head of Compliance for Citigroup's Retail Group in the UK. Greg also has worked for ASIC's sister regulator, APRA, and fully understands how to navigate in the world of regulation. He has also been involved in healthcare, mining, the public sector, property and real estate, tourism and e-commerce.

Greg has a profound ability to store obscure/useless information and certainly is hard to beat at trivia nights.

Kathy Ashe

Operations Manager

Kathy Ashe has worked in business development for over 25 years and the breadth of her experience spreads from her time as Business Development Director for American Express in Western Europe to her more recent work coaching small business owners around Australia. She has been involved in telecommunications, healthcare and finance.

When Kathy was at school, she wanted to be a fashion designer, but now she just designs amazing business solutions for our clients!

Louise White

Pursuit Broker Services Client Support Officer

Louise has daily contact with our brokers to ensure they are meeting all their compliance obligations.

Louise has a wealth of experience gained from 25 years in Retail Banking, Lending and Management and has lived in many places in Australia, as her spouse is in Defence. In all her positions, Lou ensures that her clients have grown their knowledge from their interactions with her.

Lou loves her rugby supporting both Australia and Wales (and has had very interesting conversation sitting next to the resident die hard Kiwi Supporter in the QED team). She has a large Welsh family as has been learning to speak Welsh and frequently shares with the team - Iechyd da!

Sally Cornwell

Pursuit Broker Services Client Support Officer

Sally loves being able to work with and support our brokers, building relationships with them to ensure they understand their obligations around compliance, working with them and not against them.

Sally has been in the finance industry all her working life. She's had various positions with the Bank of Melbourne from teller to Branch Manager. For the past 25 years she's been in the broking industry, has worked as a broker, loan processor and broker support before moving into the compliance space three years ago for a boutique sub-aggregator.

Sally's favourite travel destination is Sanur in Bali (which she goes to every year and is planning retirement there), and she is a member of the Richmond Tigers - QED finally has an AFL supporter!

May Modino

Pursuit Broker Services Client Support Officer

Pursuit Broker Services (QED Credit Services) - an alternative solution for brokers to operate their own way, without obtaining a Credit Licence - www.pursuitbroker.com.au.

May coaches CompliFast members to fully utilise the CompliFast system to be compliant, including being a Virtual Compliance Manager for broking firms with many credit representatives.

May has worked for 12 years in the financial services industry including Banking, Insurance and Superannuation. Previously May spent 15 years in travel and tourism and has worked and lived in Manila, Hongkong, Singapore, Thailand and Bali. Her strengths are customer service, administration support, process improvement, regulation compliance and team collaboration.

May loves cooking, travelling, coffee, wines, and karaoke - the QED Christmas party watch out!

Leanne Knudsen

Pursuit Broker Services Team Leader

Leanne joined the QED team in 2019 to manage Pursuit Broker Services (QED Credit Services). She is now developing and implement sales strategies for the QED Group and overseeing QED's File Auditing Team.

Before QED, Leanne worked in State Government Administration, HSE compliance, Property Management and Collections, she has superior relationship management skills, with a strong attention to detail, with her proven track record of simplifying processes, strengthening compliance and improving business performance.

Leanne is our resident Kiwi and devoted All Blacks supporter of course!
